Turbo Dodge Electrical Connector List and Equivalent Part Numbers (Mouser) FAQ

The majority of the connecotrs listed below are available on Mouser. The ones that have been identified find are from Delphi (and FCI, which Delphi bought), and TE connectivity. Delphi and TE have got most of the things we need covered.

Note, this list does not include a source for the Ford-style "bullet terminal" connectors that most of our early 90's cars have. FORTUNATELY most of those are available in Delphi Weatherpack equivalent (i.e. TPS or MAP)

Also note, DO NOT buy gold or silver terminals. You might think they are better, but components don't come with gold or silver terminals, so you'd be interfacing different materials, which increases the risk of galvanic corrosion. You're best to just get the tin ones. If you want to buy gold male and female and make up your own end, i.e. oxygen sensor, go ahead.

Others:

Bosch LSU 4.2 Wideband O2

  • 936142-1 (TE, Micro Timer, 6-way connector)
  • 144431-1 (TE, Junior Power Timer, 17 - 22 gauge tin terminal)

Bosch LSU 4.9 Wideband O2

  • 1599620-2 (TE, Housing, Micro-Timer, Available from OnlineComponents.com) verified to work with Bosch sensor p/n 17025.
  • 284716-4 (TE, Housing, Micro-Timer, Mouser) verified, but is more difficult to disconnect than the 1599620 (may be good or bad, depending on what you want).
  • 964274-2 (TE, Female Terminal, Micro-Timer, Available from OnlineComponents.com) HAVE
  • 1241732-2 (TE, Female Terminal, Micro-Timer II, Mouser) HAVE, appears to be identical to 964274, but is pre-gapped a tiny bit (reduces connection force).
  • 962876-2 (TE, Female Terminal, Micro-Timer, Mouser) HAVE, I can't tell any difference to 964274.
  • 968015-2 (TE, Female Terminal, Micro-Timer, Mouser) HAVE, slightly different tang design (though, for what benefit?).
  • 964972-1 (TE, Cable Seal, Micro-Timer, Yellow, 1.9 - 2.4 mm Insul. O.D, Available from OnlineComponents.com) HAVE
  • 963530-1 (TE, Cable Seal, Micro-Timer, Gray, 1.4 - 1.9 mm Insul. O.D)

  • 54001801 (Male Tin Terminal, 18-20 AWG)

(Don't use gold terminals to interface with sensors, only use gold terminals for in-line connections where gold is in both male and female)

  • 54001803 (Female Gold Terminal, 18-20 AWG)
  • 54001819 (Male Gold Terminal, 18-20 AWG)
  • 54200005 (Cavity Plug, Need for Newer Oil Pressure Switch)

More alternative parts with better connectors:

  • 184246-1 (TE 2+2 pin Male SSC) - Oxygen Sensor (later, including Neon SRT-4)  verified with '05 O2 sensor from my truck
  • 173706-1 (TE Male, Bag, Tin, 16-20 AWG) HAVE - verified, but I would prefer a slightly longer blade option
  • 171631-1 (TE Male, Reel, Tin, 20-24 AWG) In Stock
  • 184000-1 (TE 2 pin Female SSC) - Outside Air Temp. Sensor (late model) - part in hand verified by drawing

  • 184030-3 (TE Female, Tin, 14-20 AWG)
  • 184140-1 (TE Cable Seal, 1.6 - 2.1 mm Insul. O.D.)
  • 176886-2 (TE Cable Seal, 1.8 - 2.6 mm Insul. O.D.)  used this to verify the O2 sensor conn/term
  • 282189-1 (TE Fuel Injector) HAVE - it's a cable sealed version with built-in TPA and provisions for the boot
  • 880810-1 (2-way boot)
  • It's hard to tell which terminal is best. I have all of these 3, but they all work just fine.
  • 927770-1 (TE Female, Junior Power Timer, 17-20 AWG)
  • 929939-1 (TE Female, Junior Power Timer, 17-20 AWG, same as above but with a longer body)
  • 964286-1 (TE Female, Junior Power Timer, 17-20 AWG, almost the same as 927770, but slightly more robust?)
  • 828905-1 (TE Cable Seal, White, 2.2 - 3.0 mm cable O.D.)
  • 828904-2 (TE Cable Seal, Blue, 1.2 - 2.1 mm cable O.D.)
  • Not sure if these are any better or worse than the last 2 seals, but they work too:
  • 963293-1 (TE Cable Seal, Red, 2.0 - 2.7 mm cable O.D.)
  • 963294-1 (TE Cable Seal, Blue, 1.2 - 2.1 mm cable O.D.)
