Hard to find 1" shorter 5 speed shifter. Excellent used 89 style (SHORTER) 5 speed shifter with correct shift knob and 5 speed shift pattern insert. Good used 89 style 5 speed shifter is a full inch shorter than all the earlier shifters and came on 89 cars only. The 89 style also has a slight bend rearward to also bring the shifter knob just a bit closer to the driver. A direct swap onto the existing shift mount bracket. The 89 style uses ball and cap style cable connectors at the shifter end for both cables. This shifter was born in an 89 Daytona but it's a direct bolt in for any cable shifted non-L (Charger,Omni,Rampage,etc)or non-S (Minivan)body turbo Dodge vehicle.
