Did you know that Eagle Manufacturing was building private jet "tugs" that were equipped with Chrysler 2.5 liter engines?  It's true and they built thousands of them.  Eagle Tugs is a company specializing in aircraft tugs and airport ground support equipment. The TT Series is a line of Eagle Tugs aircraft tugs known for their all-wheel drive (AWD) powertrain, providing superior traction and performance. Some of the TT Series models (TT-4, TT-5, TT-6, & TT-8) utilize the Chrysler 2.5 4 cylinder engine with a carburator, yes a carb, not even TBI!

We provide rebuilt Chrysler 2.5 engines for these tugs and currently have one delivered in 2025 to the West Palm Beach airport Gulfstream jet facility. It was interesting to see behind the curtain of this facility and have a chance to be close and see some of these private jets and how ground crews use Chrysler powered tugs to move them about the tarmac.  An interesting application for our motors to say the least.
