Good, clean, used 1989 2.2 common block (casting date 11/88), cross drilled with matching original forged Shelby crankshaft. Short block seals and gaskets included. Non-balance shaft engine. Complete with matching main caps and main cap bolts, front and rear crankshaft seal retainers and hardware, intermediate shaft seal retainer and hardware, oil pump, oil pump pickup tube, oil pan and hardware, turbo oil return tube, and front crankshaft/timing belt cog.
Standard bore on the block, cylinder walls have been deglazed with a bead hone and cleaned up nice with just a few strokes. See the detailed pictures. Deck is flat and has been cleaned. Standard size main and rod journals on crankshaft, oil hole edges have been chamfered, no spun bearings. See the digital caliper measurements shown in the pictures. Ready for the machine shop or use as-is with standard pistons and rings and bearings on a budget build.
