In 1987, Jim drove home his brand-new Shelby Charger GLHS, and nearly four decades later, it's still in his garage. As the original owner, he's preserved this all-original survivor in remarkable condition, making it a true piece of Turbo Dodge history. He also preserved the original window sticker showing all the exciting details (see the pictures!).
The GLHS even stood faithfully by while Jim served a tour in the U.S. Navy, patiently waiting for his return before hitting the road once again. Since then, it's delivered countless miles of boost-filled fun and become much more than just a car. It's part of the family.
Now, Jim's son has reached the age where he'd love to take over stewardship of this legendary Shelby. Whether Dad is ready to hand over the keys? Well...those negotiations are still ongoing!
Jim calls Chagrin Falls, Ohio home, so if you're in the area, keep an eye out for this beautiful black GLHS. And if you happen to pull up next to him at a stoplight, you'd better have something serious lurking under your hood...because racing Jim for pink slips is probably a bet you don't want to make!
