Genuine NOS Mopar ignition coil for all early turbo Dodge applications. The proper coil to use with many Chrysler vehicals of the period is equipped with an internal resistor making the internal resistance to be about 1.4 ohms. If your coil does not have the internal resistor (like a Blaster, Blaster II, or over the counter after market coil) the internal resistance will be too low and can cause ignition problems and failures. The no internal resistor coil will typically have the words "Use With External Resistor" printed on the case. The external resistor requirement was used on early points ignition automobiles manufactured in the 50s, 60s and 70s.
This coil comes with the mounting bracket to attach it to the inner fender and not to the cylinder head as on the later cars. Genuine Mopar part, new old stock.
